The Role

Associate Photographers are the talented and versatile team responsible for media collection for  and  Equipped with a top‑of‑the‑line Pro 3 Matterport, digital camera equipment and iPad, our Associate Photographers create virtual tours, floor plans and photography for residential homes. Each photographer is assigned a core territory in which they serve the clients of  and

Photographers receive scheduled appointments on specific dates and times, where they scan homes and apartments with Matterport Pro3 cameras, capturing virtual tours and floor plans. They also take residential photography for marketing purposes, working closely with clients, sales associates, logistics, and management. Photography Managers in local markets manage photographers remotely.

Responsibilities
  • Support marketing efforts on  and  by capturing beautiful 3‑D virtual tours and footprints.
  • Create a portfolio of photographs to best feature homes and apartments, using photography techniques to capture the spaces pleasingly.
  • Collaborate with scheduling and dispatch teams to maximize appointments and meet client demands.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, sales, researcher partners, and management to evaluate priorities and tasks strategically.
  • While not working on a residential home, navigate a one‑mile square grid to ensure complete commercial real estate data coverage, identifying new inventory, missing availability, and properties to photograph.
  • Abide by CoStar safety standards to safeguard company vehicle and equipment.
  • Represent CoStar professionally at all times.
  • Participate in conference calls with sales and research teams as needed.
Physical Requirements of Position
  • Repetitive and frequent sitting in a car, standing and walking for up to 8 hours per day.
  • Lift, carry, and maneuver equipment weighing up to 5 pounds.
  • Repeat hand and arm movements to type on a tablet or laptop and operate camera equipment.
  • Bend, stoop, squat, lift, twist, and carry as required to perform job functions.
  • Work and drive outside during all seasons.
  • Work weekends on a rotating schedule.
Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of professional experience.
  • Real estate photography experience required.
  • Experience as a professional photographer, or a recently earned degree in photography.
  • Experienced drone photographer with an FAA Part 107 license/certification obtained within 30 days of offer.
  • Strong time‑management skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Skill at accurately capturing and entering data.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of Windows, Apple OS, Microsoft Office, and internet applications.
  • Enjoy working independently in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Field experience preferred.
  • Current and valid driver’s license.
  • Successful completion of a Driving Record/Driving Abstract check prior to start, with responsible driving history and compliance with traffic laws.
Compensation

The Associate Photographer position is hourly plus bonus‑eligible. Bonuses are paid monthly based on performance metrics. The role pays roughly $50,000 annually, with additional monthly bonus opportunity.
