About the Role

Peraton is seeking an Application Support Agent to perform the following duties:

  • Answer incoming calls from customers to take orders, address inquiries, resolve complaints, troubleshoot problems, and provide non‑technical information.
  • Respond to customer inquiries, provide product and service information, and process orders, forms, and applications.
  • Make outbound service calls to potential customers.
  • Utilize mechanized systems to initiate and complete service orders and handle customer requests.
  • Research required information using available resources.
  • Identify and escalates priority issues and complaints.
  • Follow up on customer calls as necessary.
  • Complete call logs and produce call reports.
  • Work in one or multiple queues/skill sets over various customer contact channels.
  • Assist in training new employees.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma with at least 2 years of experience.
  • U.S. Citizen.
  • Ability to obtain a Department of Defense security clearance (ADP II Public Trust).
  • Strong critical‑thinking skills that facilitate expedient problem solving.
  • Capability to support and maintain proficiency for a wide range of services.
  • Ability to communicate technical matters to a non‑technical audience.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Multi‑tasking ability in a fast‑paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Knowledge of MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with Service Desk support methodology.
Desired Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Military Health Systems.
  • Relevant technical certifications (e.g., ITIL, HDI).
Salary and Benefits

Target Salary Range: $30,000 – $48,000. Salary is determined by factors such as scope of responsibilities, experience, education, skills, and geographic location.
