Associate Architect

Overview

Merrick is seeking a highly motivated Associate Architect/Architectural Designer with two to five years of work experience to support projects based out of our growing San Antonio, Texas office. Must be team oriented, self-starting and focused on producing good design.

Annual pay range for this position is $68,300.00 - $75,000.00. Pay offered may vary depending on job related knowledge, skills, and experience.

This individual will work in a multi-disciplinary design studio, producing construction documents, and will possess the desire for individual growth and eventual licensure in the architectural profession. The Associate Architect will collaborate with other drafters/designers under the direction of a licensed architect and must be able to follow directions and schedules, work independently, and possess good written and oral communication skills.

• Minimum two (2) years experience as a designer in Architecture (Associate Architect).
• Proficient in Revit, 3D modeling programs (Sketch Up & Revit preferred) and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Master’s degree in architecture.
• Client projects for this position require sole U.S. Citizenship.
• Local candidates strongly preferred.
