Join our dedicated team at a renowned healthcare facility where you'll provide essential OB/GYN clinical services and hospital call coverage. This locum tenens opportunity calls for a skilled physician ready to commit to a 3 to 6-month assignment starting January, with the possibility of extension. The role includes comprehensive OB/GYN care during weekdays and hospital call duties for approximately 7-10 days per month.

Hospital call coverage for 7-10 days per month - Patient Population: Adult
- Location: San Antonio, TX
- Stipends: Housing and travel options can be discussed for non-local candidates

- • Lodging and mileage reimbursement (if applicable)
- • Flexible scheduling
- Provide comprehensive OB/GYN services, including low and high-risk pregnancy management, and routine and complicated deliveries.
- Perform and interpret OB ultrasounds and other diagnostic procedures.
- Provide office and minor gynecology services such as IUD insertions, cryosurgery, and colposcopy.
- Engage in surgical gynecology, including diagnostic laparoscopies and operative procedures as required.
- Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Active ACLS and BLS certifications
- Clean malpractice record required
- Previous experience with Level III trauma facilities preferred
- Providers with active privileges preferred
- Regular hours:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM - Call coverage:
Approximately 7-10 days per month
- Proficiency in managing low and high-risk pregnancies
- Expertise in performing and interpreting OB ultrasounds
- Competency in routine and complicated deliveries
- Capability to perform gynecological surgeries and procedures
