Engaging Duties:
- Provide comprehensive care and treatment to patients diagnosed with cancer
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of the patient's medical history and current condition
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on the specific needs of each patient
- Administer radiation therapy and other cancer treatments as necessary
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective care
- Educate patients and their families about the nature of their disease, treatment options, and potential side effects
- Document all patient interactions, treatments, and progress in electronic medical records
- Above-average base and productivity-based compensation
Requirements:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution - Board certification in Radiation Oncology
- Valid state medical license to practice as a Radiation Oncologist
- Proven experience in diagnosing and treating various types of cancer
- Strong knowledge of current research, advancements, and best practices in Radiation Oncology
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues
