SummaryThe Division of Cardiology in the Department of Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine has an opening for a 0.90 FTE pediatric cardiology electrophysiology faculty position at CHRISTUS Children’s. This position comes with a faculty appointment within the department of pediatrics, a competitive salary, and a full benefits package. The candidate’s credentials and experience will determine the rank of the academic appointment.
Job DutiesClinical duties include patient care responsibilities and an outpatient clinic at CHRISTUS Children’s. Faculty teaching responsibilities include direct clinical supervision of medical students, residents, fellows, and other students in related fields (nursing, dietary, pharmacy) who observe the physician directly in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Minimum Qualifications- M.D. degree
- Related experience required
- Licensed by the Texas Medical Board (or eligible for same)
- Board certification in General Pediatrics with subspecialty certification in Pediatric Cardiology by the American Board of Pediatrics (or eligible for same)
