Interventional Cardiologist Opportunity – San Antonio, Texas
University Health’s Heart and Vascular Institute is actively recruiting for a highly skilled and compassionate Interventional Cardiologist to join our dynamic cardiovascular team and help build a nationally recognized leader in cardiovascular care. University Health, the third-largest public health system in Texas, is rapidly growing its cardiovascular service line. Currently, cardiology services are provided in inpatient and outpatient settings. Inpatient cardiology services are provided at University Hospital with over 700 beds, six state-of-the-art catheterization laboratories, a robust cardiovascular ICU with a 24/7 inpatient critical care service, advanced cardiac imaging, a busy VA ECMO program, a growing structural heart program, and multidisciplinary PERT and limb salvage teams.
Outpatient ambulatory facilities and imaging span multiple locations across San Antonio.
University Health is also expanding to two additional new community hospitals and multiple outpatient clinics with cardiac catheterization laboratories, non-invasive imaging and clinics scheduled to open in early 2027.
