Position Title: Instructor for Entry-Level Doctor of Physical Therapy Program  Academic Year)

Position Summary: The School of Rehabilitation Sciences invites part-time faculty candidates to serve as small group facilitators/tutors in the Physical Therapy Reasoning course series, with occasional duties in the Patient-Client Management course series. Responsibilities include teaching, student engagement, and collaboration with faculty, adhering to university policies and standards.

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program with a DPT degree.
• Five years licensed physical therapy experience or two years if a graduate of a problem-based learning program or residency.
• Knowledge of legislative, regulatory, and practice issues affecting physical therapy.
• Effective instructional, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in instructional technology and ability to engage students actively.
• Licensure to practice Physical Therapy and membership in the American Physical Therapy Association or willingness to join.

• Part-time, approximately 6 hours/week, primarily mornings.
• Position is not benefits-eligible.
• Posting open from 07/08/2025 to 03/31/2026; multiple hires possible.
