The Department of Computational, Engineering, and Mathematical Sciences is seeking part‑time adjunct instructor(s) to teach introductory calculus and non‑calculus based introductory physics lecture and laboratory courses in person for Fall 2025 (no online option available).

• An earned Master’s degree in Physics or a closely related field from a regionally accredited institution.
• 18 graduate hours in Physics or a closely related field.
• Physics lecture and laboratory teaching experience; experience as a graduate teaching assistant acceptable.

• Working toward or has earned a Ph.D. in Physics or a related field from a regionally accredited institution.
• Experience and interest in teaching undergraduates in a college/university setting.
• Broad training in physics.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• presentation skills.
• Interest in active and collaborative learning and the instructional use of technology.
• Experience with non‑traditional commuter university settings.
• Ability to work cooperatively with faculty and staff.
• Ability to respond promptly to queries from students, faculty, and staff.
