Principle Function:

The Nursery Staff position is a Part-Time Hourly position that provides support for our Westover families by supplying childcare during worship services and special events for newborns up to two-year-old.

Normal hours are Saturdays 5:00 7:15 pm and Sundays 8:30 am to 1 pm.

Nursery staff might be needed for special events on other days and times.

Specific List of Responsibilities:

• Receive, nurture, and treasure each child as Gods gift
• Organize and prepare classroom activities.
• Train and develop volunteers.
• Nurture and support families in caring for their children.
• Ensure children have good hygiene and change diapers as necessary.
• Assure nurseries are safe, clean, and inviting to parents and children alike.
• Maintain nurseries in such a manner that our children and their parents feel confident and secure in using the facilities, so that all may have a positive and affirming experience with the church

  • Tasks, opening duties, closing duties, tool usage, etc.
• Is punctual
  • Clocking in and clocking out (with event exceptions)

  • Sees it; owns it (reports it) - Does not wait for tickets to arrive

  • Servant to all ministries

• Extend the heart and spirit of the church, and ultimately the Lead Pastor.
