A substitute teacher is responsible for ensuring each child's education proceeds smoothly in the absence of their regular teacher. This role involves carrying out lesson plans and fulfilling teaching duties as outlined by the school's and Archdiocese's policies.

• Employment Status: Temporary
• FLSA Status: Non-Exempt/Hourly
• Reports to: Principal

• Support and uphold Catholic education philosophy and school mission
• Model Gospel values and adhere to Religious Standards for Catholic School Employees
• Maintain confidentiality and support school policies
• Provide instructional reinforcement and supervise students in various settings
• Attend to students' physical, personal, academic, and emotional needs
• Follow safety protocols and ensure student safety
• Collaborate with staff and perform other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent required;
  Bachelor's preferred
• At least 1 year of substitute or teaching experience preferred
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and vehicle insurance required
• Must pass Safe Environment and background checks

• Ability to address students' diverse needs
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and team-oriented
