We provide comprehensive training on how to teach our courses!
Core Foundation Curriculum:
- Study Skills
- Anatomy, Physiology, and Terminology
- Computer Basics
- Math Fundamentals
- CPR and First Aid
Key Responsibilities:
- Instruction & Student Engagement: Design and deliver dynamic lesson plans in subjects like math, computers, and medical terminology using a variety of teaching techniques. Foster an engaging and inclusive learning environment that accommodates diverse learning styles. Maintain scheduled office hours to advise and assist students one-on-one.
- Assessment & Program Support: Evaluate and grade student assignments, classwork, and papers promptly, providing constructive feedback. Participate in student recruitment, registration, and placement activities. Contribute to curriculum development by reviewing and suggesting improvements to course materials.
- Community & Professional Development: Organize enriching activities such as guest speaker sessions, community service field trips, and visits to medical facilities. Actively participate in faculty meetings, in-service training, graduations, and other campus events. Complete all necessary student documentation, including attendance reports and progress alerts.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited program in a relevant field OR a minimum of three (3) years of related occupational experience.
- Three (3) years of practical work experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of core subjects (e.g., Medical Terminology, Anatomy, Physiology) through education or work experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Three (3) years of teaching or training experience.
