Key Responsibilities
  • Substitute teach and implement lesson plans provided by the absent teacher.
  • Manage classrooms and encourage active student participation while maintaining a positive learning environment.
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of students across Pre‑K through 12th grade.
  • Supervise students in classrooms, hallways, cafeterias, and playgrounds during assignments.
  • Deliver in‑class assignments based on available lesson plans.

Qualifications
  • Required:

    Associate degree or 60+ college credit hours.
  • Preferred:
    Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Prior substitute teaching experience (preferred).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Positive, friendly, and professional attitude.
  • Ability to lead and engage students of all ages while ensuring a safe learning environment.
  • General knowledge across multiple subjects.
  • Flexibility to follow or adapt lesson plans as needed.
  • Critical thinking and problem‑solving skills to handle classroom challenges.
