** Role Overview for Sr. Service Technician
** Whilst you’re working in field services, your work will directly impact our mission to create a cleaner, brighter future. We’re looking for someone who’s ready to roll up their sleeves, share their ideas, and make a real difference—every single day.
** What You’ll Be Doing as a Sr. Service Technician
*** Commission CSI Energy Storage’s Sol Bank Storage Power Block
* Perform preventative and corrective maintenance of SPBs to adhere to warranty requirements
* Manage obligations for BESS equipment under LTSA’s, which may include:
* Energy Storage Cabinets (ESC’s)
* Power Conversion Stations (PCS)
* Ring Main Units (RMU’s) / Switchgear
* Transformers* SCADA and networking devices
* Provide onsite diagnostic, troubleshooting, and hands-on support to maintain equipment and meet availability and capacity guarantees
* Oversee and supervise sub-contractors on site when required
* Assist in developing standard operating procedures and processes
* Complete work order documentation in a timely manner
* Ensure accuracy of spare parts inventory
* Perform proper Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and switching procedures as needed
* Support client training during commissioning
* Adhere to all health and safety rules and policies
* Complete other duties and projects as assigned
* Team up with talented colleagues and partners to achieve project goals.

* Qualified Electrical Technician
* Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in a service environment, preferably in renewable energy
* OSHA 30 Certified (OSHA 10 certification is accepted if OSHA 30 is obtained soon after hire)
* Previous training and knowledge of inverters
* SCADA experience is beneficial
