This job opportunity is available at ANY location in the United States. Ideally, selected candidates will be near a JACOBS U.S. based office, but we intend to hire the "best" candidates. • Work on a variety of projects related to data centers, including new builds, retrofits, colocations, and more.
• Perform a variety of structural engineering assignments, increasing familiarity with design methods and tools.
• Collaborate with diverse teams of engineers and designers on capital projects, liaising with internal professionals and design departments.
• Coordinate designs with other Jacobs offices, both domestic and international.
• Perform analysis, create computer models, calculate member designs and foundations, produce material take‑offs for estimating, prepare miscellaneous calculations, and assist with schedules.

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 8 or more years of professional experience in structural engineering.
• Registered Professional Engineer, with the ability to become registered in additional states.
• Knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, Micro Station, S3D) and structural analysis software (RISA, STAAD).
• Familiarity with ACI, AISC, ASCE 7, AIST Technical Report 13, and other industry design codes.
• Knowledge of and application of building codes.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite, including MS Teams.
• Ability to travel 10%–20% to client sites.

• Master of Science in Engineering.
• Experience with industrial metal projects such as casting and rolling operations.
• Ability to lead teams to deliver commitments on schedule and on budget while meeting quality and client expectations.
