Mechanical Design Engineer | Casting, Fuel Systems, and Die Casting Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (required).
• 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience, ideally within component engine fuel systems, casting, or die casting
  .
• Proficient in 3D mechanical design software (Solid Works preferred).
• Hands‑on experience with FEA, CFD
  , and tolerance stack‑up analysis
  .
• Strong understanding of GD&T and manufacturing processes
  .
• Familiarity with injection molding and die casting processes.
• Experience with CSA Class I, Div 2, and UL standards (preferred).
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Detail‑oriented with a proactive, problem‑solving mindset.

• Lead the design and development of new mechanical and electro‑mechanical products from concept through production.
• Perform FEA, CFD, and tolerance stack‑up analyses to ensure robust product designs.
• Conduct design reviews, DFMEAs, PFMEAs, and DFM assessments.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with manufacturing, validation, and quality teams to support both new and existing product lines.
• Estimate product costs, tooling requirements, and development timelines.
• Develop and execute design validation test plans in coordination with internal test labs.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and drafters to ensure high‑quality engineering deliverables.
