Interclypse is seeking a Dataflow Engineer in Annapolis Junction, MD to augment the existing dataflow team for a large analytic cloud repository.

Currently, Interclypse is seeking motivated, career-, and customer-oriented Dataflow Engineers to join our team to provide exemplary support to our customers and to begin an exciting and rewarding career within Interclypse. The Dataflow Engineer will work with the team providing Data Flow Management for the data distribution team using Apache NiFi. This is an on-call position. The candidate must have prior data flow or NiFi dataflow engineering experience.

Experience with data governance is desired (DMRs, DLMS, DSW, DART) processes, security, and compliance as it relates to data handling and access control, and the catalog labeling process is highly desired.

• Provide Data Flow Management for the data distribution team using Apache NiFi.
• Collaborate with team to support data flow engineering efforts and customer requirements.
• Operate in an on-call capacity as required.
• Contribute to data governance processes and data handling/compliance practices as applicable.

• 20 years of demonstrated dataflow, system engineering, or related experience plus a related Bachelor's Degree (five years of additional relevant experience can be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree).

• HDFS, HADOOP, HBASE, Accumulo, or BIG TABLE experience
