Position SummaryLead and provide engineering support for product design and development line extensions, managing aggressive time-to-market requirements and integrating a customer‑centric approach.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Work with Planning and Supply Chain to find alternate solutions to materials to maintain on time delivery
- Liase with Quality for FAS review when needed for alternates or new items
- Collaborate with Production and Manufacturing Engineering for pilot jobs during implementation of new product changes
- Assist Product Support in provide engineering solutions to customer field issues
- Facilitiate with Customer Service team on special project requirements to find solutions for the customer
- Support production issues related to engineering design
- Handle non-conforming material review requests from Supply Chain and Quality
- Review vendor change requests and update design data when appropriate
- Review supplier identified issues and determine resolution of materials
- Implement product improvements across released product families
- Create new finished good part numbers for customer orders
- Use Syteline to manage BOM changes related to product improvements and material availability
- Work within Solid Works to make design and drawing updates when necessary

Education and Experience
- Associate degree (technical) with mechanical/electrical experience
- 1+ years of experience in computer software (Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Familiar with Bills of Materials.
- Basic experience with 2D, 3D, CAD software (AutoCAD, Solid Works or equivalent)
- Basic ERP software experience
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering from an accredited university
- Highly proficient with 2D, 3D, CAD software (AutoCAD, Solid Works or equivalent)
- Experience with Syteline ERP software
