Job Title:

Location:
San Antonio, TX Salary Range: $70/HR TO $75/HR Introduction We are looking for a highly experienced engineer to join our Electromagnetic Effects Group. The ideal candidate will work on a range of Defense, Space, and Security programs, developing and validating Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) requirements and architectures. This role is essential for integrating complex systems and components into higher-level systems and platforms.

Skills & Qualifications
* Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
* Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, engineering physics, or physics
* Familiarity with Electromagnetic concepts such as RF isolation, shielding, grounding, and filtering
* Experience with MIL-STD-461/464 and/or DO-160 EMI/EMC
* 5 or more years of related work experience and Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time as required Preferred
Skills & Qualifications
* ABET accredited Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a Master's/PhD in electrical engineering
* Active U.S. Security Clearance
* Familiarity with the defense or aerospace industry
* * Prior experience with Aerospace Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) Day-to-Day Responsibilities
* Perform trade studies, modeling, simulation, and other forms of analysis to predict component, interconnects, and system performance
* Work towards achieving Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) of electronics, wiring, and structure
* Interface with manufacturing for complex E3 aspects of designs and coordinate with suppliers
* Support project management by coordinating development of work statements, budgets, and schedules Company Benefits & Culture
