Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an innovative Electrical Analyst responsible for working on the next‑generation Air Force One aircraft in reading/analyzing electrical drawings, working through electrical challenges and developing rapid solutions. This position is fully onsite in San Antonio, TX.
Responsibilities- Evaluates parts, materials, processes, technology or equipment through research and testing to ensure safety, reliability and adherence to requirements and specifications.
- Analyzes failed parts and processes to reduce or eliminate future failures. Generates test plans, identifies and categorizes failures, determines root cause and documents results and recommendations.
- Proposes, develops and validates revisions to procedures and specifications.
- Determines suitability of parts, materials and processes.
- Determines suitability of parts, materials and processes and coordinates resolution of issues with suppliers and customers.
- Supports continuous improvement of products and processes by designing, developing, fabricating, testing, evaluating and implementing new concepts and technology.
- Provides knowledge and technical consultation to internal and external customers.
- Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Knowledge of parts, materials and processes related to electrical, electronic, electro‑mechanical, electro‑optical commodities.
- Knowledge of electronics and electro‑mechanical assemblies and the ability to solve problems.
- Knowledge of industry, military and government specifications, handbooks and standards (preferred).
- Experience with electrical troubleshooting.
- Experience in the aerospace industry (preferred).
- Experience with shipside support.
- Experience with electrical wiring drawings (must have).
- Experience with ENOVIA and CATIA (reading/navigating; design experience not required).
- Experience with wire installation.
- Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g., associate) and typically 3 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., bachelor + 1 year of related work experience, 5 years’ related work experience, etc.).
$80,000–$90,000/year depending on years of experience and degree.
