Project Structural Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Project Structural Engineer to independently manage structural engineering projects from proposal through construction for small to medium‑sized projects. The ideal candidate will plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate detailed phases of assigned project work with team members.

• Independently manage structural engineering projects from proposal through construction.
• Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate detailed phases of assigned project work with team members.
• Perform destructive and non‑destructive testing on existing structures.
• Conduct quality control reviews of proposals, reports, drawings, and designs prepared by others.
• Evaluate and develop complex laboratory, field data, and structural analysis.
• Serve as a technical adviser to junior‑level structural team members.
• Collaborate directly with clients and project teams to define scope, communicate progress, and provide design recommendations.
• Prepare and review engineering reports, specifications, and construction drawings.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).
• 5–8 years of experience in structural engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Strong technical, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects effectively.

• Experience in forensic engineering is heavily preferred.
• Proficiency in Revit and Autocad.

The role involves collaborating directly with clients and project teams, requiring strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. The position may involve both office and field work, including conducting tests on existing structures.

Permanent position based out of San Antonio, TX.

The pay range for this position is $ – $ per year. Eligible candidates receive medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) plan, paid time off and holidays, education reimbursement, and various bonus programs.
