Position
Device Engineer (eInfochips)
Job DescriptionRole: Device Engineer
Location: US-WI-Oak Creek-Wisconsin
Experience: 8+ Years
Responsibilities- Perform development and verification for avionics products such as Display, Air-Ground communication systems.
- Create and review high-level and low-level requirements.
- Perform hardware/software integration testing compliant with DO 178B/C, including unit testing.
- Execute in Agile mode, align with, and participate in review processes.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- Design, analyze, and develop product solutions using established programming languages, tools, and security baselines.
- Enhance and maintain development and testing frameworks to ensure reusability, scalability, stability, and optimal performance.
- Prepare and execute comprehensive test plans; develop automated and manual test scripts to validate new features and improve existing products.
- Conduct reviews in alignment with standards, perform analysis, troubleshoot and resolve product issues of moderate complexity.
- Document technical deliverables throughout the project lifecycle, including specifications, design documents, code comments, test cases, test reports, and release notes.
- Collaborate with other technical leads to develop unit test; ensure thorough documentation.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members, fostering technical growth and collaboration.
- Requires in-depth knowledge and experience.
- Solves complex problems; applies new perspective using existing solutions.
- Works independently; receives minimal guidance.
- Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
- Represents a stable career level for many years, potentially until retirement.
- Contributes to process improvements.
- Typically resolves problems using existing solutions.
- Provides informal guidance to junior staff.
- Works with minimal guidance.
- Typically requires 5–7 years of related experience with a 4-year degree; or 3 years and an advanced degree; or equivalent work experience.
- Experience with avionics product development and verification.
- Strong knowledge of DO 178B/C compliance.
- Proficiency in hardware/software integration testing and automation.
- Experience in Agile development environments.
Fully On-Site; must be able to travel to an Arrow Client office location as requested by Arrow Client leadership.
