Position Responsibilities- Advises on advanced technology in non‑destructive instrumentation and inspection principles, processes and techniques.
- Guides implementation of advanced inspection or test techniques.
- Develops innovative test processes and equipment.
- Consults suppliers and customers to resolve technical issues involving tests, processes and equipment.
- Develops principles and methods for analyzing test, inspection or statistical data.
- Consults on corrective action to resolve process or product anomalies.
- Participates on enterprise and industry teams to influence the standardization and regulation of training and certification requirements.
- Has the responsibility and authority to ensure that the requirements of Boeing specifications are met and to qualify individuals.
- Maintain necessary certifications, licenses and permits as required for assigned work.
- Have the skills and knowledge to interpret codes, standards, and other contractual specifications that control the method used on site.
- Assume technical responsibility for the NDT facility and staff.
- Provide and/or direct the training and examination of personnel in the method in which they are certified.
- Minimum of High School Diploma or GED.
- American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT) NAS
410 compliant Level III certifications in Ultrasonic and Eddy Current and at least one additional Level III certification in either Penetrant, Magnetic Particle or Radiography. - Ability to travel 10% of the time.
- Experience with Continuous Improvement, Lean and Employee Involvement.
- Experience with MAUS V, AUUS MOBILE, OMNI SCAN units.
- Experience in a role that requires strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and schedule time and tasks effectively.

Salary Summary Range: $102,300 – $130,200. Outside U.S.: $10K signing bonus. Applications accepted until Jan. 05, 2026.
Export Control RequirementsThis position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. A U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) is required.
RelocationThis position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
Security ClearanceThis position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship) and an interim or final U.S. Secret Clearance post‑start.
