Position Summary

BGE, Inc. is hiring an Engineer in Training (EIT) up to a Senior Project Engineer (PE) to support the design and engineering of Water/Wastewater Treatment Facilities. The position is based in one of our Central Texas offices:
South Austin (Directors Blvd), North Austin (Louis Henna Blvd), or San Antonio (San Pedro Ave).

Responsibilities

• Design and engineering of water/wastewater treatment facilities, including biological treatment systems, membrane treatment facilities, pump stations, and piping systems.
• Collaborate with project teams to develop effective engineering solutions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Registered EIT or PE in Texas, or ability to obtain through reciprocity within 6 months.
• 3-5+ years of experience in public works or municipal services projects.
• Experience in water/wastewater treatment facility design.
• Proficiency with CAD software;
  Civil 3D preferred.
• Knowledge of water modeling software (Water
  
  GEMS, Info Water, or similar) is a plus.
• Willingness to work from one of our Texas offices regularly.
