As an Engineer - NDT III, you will collaborate with Quality Management and Business units, develop and improve NDT systems, and lead talented technical teams.
What You’ll Do
- Interpret codes, standards, and contractual documents for NDT methods.
- Assume technical responsibility for the NDT facility and staff.
- Select appropriate inspection methods and techniques.
- Prepare and verify procedures and work instructions.
- Write, approve, and teach NDT procedures.
- Provide training and certification for personnel.
- Conduct NDT inspections and audits.
- Develop personnel and training programs.
- Oversee processes, equipment, and inspection areas.
Basic Requirements
- ASNT Level 3 Certification in PT and MT.
- 5-10 years experience as a Level 3 in Aerospace or equivalent.
- Knowledge of other NDT methods is a plus.
- Basic computer and technical writing skills.
- Experience in Etch is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Prolonged sitting and standing required.
- Knowledge of production management systems.
