- Reporting to a Senior Engineer at the San Antonio factory.
- Join a small dynamic team to ensure the JCB Loadall remains the world’s No. 1 telescopic handler.
- Drive engineering change across high‑volume and sophisticated machines in a fast‑paced environment.
Position type:
Full Time, Exempt.
- Participate in small to medium projects delivering on objectives, time, and cost.
- Carry out product development and testing of modified or new components/systems.
- Contribute to design and development reviews and product improvement changes.
- Perform simultaneous engineering tasks: design for assembly, manufacture, and maintenance.
- Assist with formal design documentation: DFMEA, DVPSOR, risk assessments.
- Operate product and system under test; conduct functional and endurance trials of product changes.
- Experience with Unigraphics and PLM operations; working knowledge of the ePI process.
- Familiarity with BOM structures and system interactions.
- Knowledge of compliance, legislation, and standards (desirable).
- Strong grasp of engineering principles and logical problem solving.
- Degree level in Mechanical Engineering or 3+ years of industry experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Comfortable in an in‑person office environment.
- Technical competence is a plus.
- Customer service oriented, flexible, high energy level.
- Excellent follow‑through skills.
- Professional, polished, sophisticated demeanour; comfortable in most social settings.
- Open to domestic and international travel.
- Desire and proven ability to learn and grow.
- Office environment, product workshop, and manufacturing line.
- Subject to noise and temperature changes.
- Sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear.
- Occasionally stand and walk.
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
- Close vision, distance vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus.
