As part of HDR’s Building Engineering Services Group, you’ll help design the critical infrastructure that supports the digital age and shapes the spaces where people work, connect, and thrive. From high-performance data centers driving the future of AI to dynamic commercial environments, your work will directly support technological advancement, sustainability, and human experience.

We bring together mechanical, electrical, structural, and civil engineering experts to solve complex design challenges with precision, creativity, and collaboration. Whether you're optimizing energy efficiency, integrating resilient systems, or engineering the backbone of next-generation facilities, your contributions will help define the future of the built environment. • Work under the direction of senior designers to produce construction documents in REVIT, AutoCAD, and other production tools.
• Evaluate and apply state-of-the-art low voltage technology systems, techniques, procedures, designs and modifications.
• Understand technology infrastructure systems, including communications structured cabling, outside plant systems and fiber-optic systems.
• Understand medical technology systems design such as nurse call, patient EETV, physiological monitoring, EMS radio and distributed antenna systems.
• Assist in preparation construction documents and specifications.
• Take on contract administration responsibilities requiring field inspections and conflict resolution.
• Perform other duties as needed.

• RCDD (Registered Communication Distribution Designer) certification is helpful
• Familiarity with Microsoft suite of programs.
• Familiarity with Bluebeam REVU
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).
• Ability to work in a high-velocity environment managing multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and workmanship quality.
• Ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple tasks independently, and keep a daily schedule of activities.
• Familiarity with engineering drawings.
• Strong desire for continuous learning.
• Selected applicant may be subject to periodic government background checks when required by client.
• Strong preference given to local candidates

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or combination of education and relevant experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
