Senior Electrical Engineer

A growing MEP engineering firm in Texas is looking for a senior electrical engineer who designs, not just manages. You’ll work on data centers, semiconductor fabs and industrial facilities for hyperscale and Fortune 500 clients.

• Take a project from the client’s requirements to a finished, built design. Agree the concept with a principal, then own the execution.
• Design power distribution from scratch: mostly 15kV and 35kV, up to 65kV, plus 480V and 415V low voltage systems.
• Master plan sites to get the most capacity out of them.
• Lead a small design team across power, lighting and security, coordinate with architects and mechanical engineers, and roll up your sleeves when the job needs it.

• 10 to 15 years in a consulting or design engineering firm, producing the drawings and calculations yourself.
• At least two or three projects designed from a blank sheet and seen through construction.
• A PE licence, or close to getting one.
• Steady tenure that shows you’ve stayed through full project cycles.

• Paying around $170k-$200k base salary
• Fully remote from any US state, with travel to the office paid.
• A principal who is known for developing engineers into top-tier talent.
• Real ownership of projects, not a cog in a 5,000-person machine.

If you’ve spent your career at owner or operator companies reviewing drawings, or in tenant fit-out work, this probably isn’t the right fit.
