Actuary Analyst

Akkodis is seeking an Actuary Analyst for a Contract with a client in San Antonio, TX
. Candidate will be responsible for completing state filing processes, including developing and revising rates and preparing documentation for DOI approval.

Rate Range: $50/hour to $53/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Complete the state filing process, including developing and revising rates, preparing documentation for DOI approval, and responding to DOI objections.
• Apply complex actuarial methodologies and technical knowledge to solve unstructured business problems independently.
• Perform trend analysis and ensure the quality of data used to support rate level indications.
• Translate business problems into technical requirements, run models, and interpret results to support decision-making.
• Utilize actuarial, mathematical, and statistical techniques to enhance actuarial work products.
• Maintain a strong risk and compliance control environment while executing projects.
• Stay informed on industry trends and product knowledge to provide accurate and strategic solutions.

• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field (ASA or near-ASA designation preferred).
• 2–4 years of experience in P&C actuarial analysis or rate filing.
• Strong proficiency in actuarial methodologies and trend analysis for rate development.
• Ability to independently manage state filing processes and respond to DOI objections.

Pay Details: $50.00 to $53.00 per hour
