Mortgage Loan Servicing Specialist

Job Description and Requirements

The Mortgage Loan Servicing Specialist will be responsible for the servicing of portfolio mortgage loans and loans sold to external investors.

• Answer calls, chats, and e-mails related to portfolio mortgage loans and loans sold to external investors.
• Process payments and payoffs.
• Facilitate disbursements for hazard, flood, and windstorm insurance payments from the borrower’s escrow account and monitor insurance on non‑escrow mortgage loans.
• Process advances on HELOC loans.
• Process modification requests on portfolio mortgage loans.
• Review insurance claim checks up to $5,000.
• Process requests for termination of Private Mortgage Insurance and removal of escrow.
• Process release of liens on mortgage loans.
• Image documents into OnBase and Encompass.
• Maintain a high level of member service in a call center/work group environment.

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 6 months of member/customer service experience
• Ability to use phone and automated loan system effectively
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organization skills
• Ability to manage a heavy workload in a fast paced environment
• Strong proficiency with Excel, Outlook, Word and Docu Sign
• Must be available to work on Saturdays as needed

• Bi‑Lingual in English/Spanish
