Job Description

The Performance Reporting Analyst-or-Senior Analyst works closely with the Senior Vice President of Performance Reporting and senior leadership team to synthesize and interpret performance of the Company’s investment programs and underlying investments. This position will assist in historical performance metric calculations for reporting and will assist in delivering actionable, performance-based insights for communicating to and assisting senior management with decision making.

Duties
  • Calculate and validate recurring investment performance metrics including IRR, time-weighted returns, equity multiples, and contribution analysis.
  • Produce and reconcile quarterly performance reporting for funds, investments and properties.
  • Lead or assist in NCREIF, MSCI and other benchmarking submissions.
  • Perform attribution, contribution, variance, and benchmark analysis.
  • Analyze benchmark results and market trends to provide performance insights.
  • Partner with Fund Financial Operations, Fund Administrators, Asset Management, Portfolio Management, Global Investors Group, Corporate Communications, and service providers to resolve to streamline and ensure efficient quarter-end analysis and reporting process.
  • Perform data quality reviews and validation procedures.
  • Develop and enhance reporting databases, dashboards, and analytical models.
  • Collaborate with STS and data strategy teams to improve reporting automation and scalability.
  • Maintain process documentation and controls.
  • Support ad hoc analytical requests from management and stakeholders.
  • Participate in finance transformation, governance, and system initiatives.
  • Perform other essential duties, as assigned.

  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Utilize approved automation and AI tools responsibly to streamline workflows.
  • Develop innovative solutions that improve reporting quality and accessibility.
  • Apply AI in accordance with company policies, privacy standards and governance requirements.
  • Evaluate risks and limitations of AI-enabled solutions and ensure appropriate oversight.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, Information Systems or related discipline.
  • 1-3 years of experience in performance reporting, investment operations, analytics, fund accounting or related quantitative field.
  • Understanding of IRR, time-weighted returns, benchmarking and attribution concepts.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Experience working with large datasets and reconciliations.
  • Demonstrated interest in process improvement and automation.
  • Strong understanding of capital markets and institutional investing concepts.
  • Must be willing to work on-site full time.
  • Experience and qualifications may warrant placement in a different job title.
