Senior Mortgage Loan Underwriter

• Evaluate applicant eligibility for loan application processing
• Verify applicant information including credit scores and valid documentation
• Examine loan documentation for accuracy and completeness
• Adhere to mortgage product guidelines and regulatory compliance
• Review and analyze mortgage loan compliance with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA, and Rural Development guidelines
• Manage pipeline and report project timelines and results
• Communicate decisions and justifications clearly to appropriate parties

• 5+ years of Residential Mortgage Underwriting experience
• Required experience with Conventional Agency guidelines
• Deep understanding of pipeline management and system supported workflows
• Strong understanding of multiple investor guidelines and regulatory compliance
• Excellent organizational, written, and telephone communication skills

• Experience with Non-Conforming, Jumbo, FHA, VA, or Bond Programs
