- Provide clinic-based ABA services to EBH patients and families
- Supervise implementation of treatment to ensure satisfactory protocol implementation
- Conduct initial and follow-up assessments and parent questionnaires
- Develop and write individualized behavior acquisition programs
- Conduct descriptive and functional analyses as part of functional assessments
- Write behavior intervention plans for behavior reduction targets
- Develop and write initial treatment plans and update plans per best practice and insurance guidelines
- Implement and supervise data collection systems
- Provide behavioral support for patients in an interdisciplinary setting
- Evaluate and report patient progress toward treatment goals; oversee transition and discharge plans
- Conduct individual and group trainings for parents/caregivers as needed
- Attend department and interdisciplinary staff meetings
- Maintain BCBA certification by continuing education in BACB categories
- Obtain and maintain state licensure
- Adhere to the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts
- Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis or related field
- Board certification and in good standing as a BCBA
- Current BCBA licensure in Texas
- Minimum of 2 years working with children with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disabilities
- Competencies:
Planning and Evaluating, Problem-Solving, Customer Service, Decision Making, Interpersonal Skills, Time Management, Written and Oral Communication
- Must be able to move or transport up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to participate in 6–8 hour sessions, including responding to elopement or aggression
- Must be able to sit on the floor when needed and transition to standing quickly to respond to behavior
- Must be able to bend or twist to utilize physical management and maintain holds when necessary
