SummaryThe Radiology Tech performs basic to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures, as requested by a licensed physician. The Radiology Tech exercises professional judgment in providing health care services, applying x-ray energy, to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups from newborn to elderly. The Radiology tech is multi-skilled in the use of O.R. procedures and equipment.
Minimum Education- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
- Associate degree
- Current Texas Medical Board (TMB) license
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, in Radiography or registration eligibility
- ARRT within one year post graduation of accredited school
- Active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA)
- AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire
