Position: Radiology Technologist Full Time Weekend Days SLB

Radiology Technologist (Full Time, Weekend Days – SLB) at Baptist Health System.

Sign-on Bonus may be offered.

Summary

The Radiology Tech performs basic to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures, as requested by a licensed physician. The Radiology Tech exercises professional judgment in providing health care services, applying x-ray energy, to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups from newborn to elderly. The Radiology tech is multi-skilled in the use of O.R. procedures and equipment.

Minimum Education

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology

Preferred Education

• Associate degree

Required Certifications / Licensure

• Current Texas Medical Board (TMB) license
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, in Radiography or registration eligibility
• ARRT within one year post graduation of accredited school

Required Courses / Completions

• Active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA)
• AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire
