Wellness Coordinator

Wellness Coordinator – Progressive Health, LLC – San Antonio, TX

What will you be doing in this role?

• Implement wellness initiatives including incentive‑based programs, health education, and health promotions
• Lead and coordinate task force teams for wellness and related projects
• Assess employee wellness needs and develop measurable objectives and targeted program content
• Plan, organize, and promote wellness events such as health fairs, challenges, races, and lunch & learns
• Support additional programs including Early Intervention, Work Conditioning, and Safety initiatives
• Organize and implement new wellness projects and engagement ideas
• Maintain accurate documentation and records using computer technologies
• Partner with local and remote wellness champions and vendors
• Comply with established operational policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned

Our ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Promotion or a related field (preferred)
• CPR and First Aid certifications or the ability to obtain prior to employment
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Proficiency with computer and web‑based programs
• Ability to motivate employees and encourage wellness participation
• Professionalism with employees, leadership, and external partners
• Skills in program building, benchmarking, assessment, and creative initiative development
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA requirements
• Energetic, forward‑thinking, and collaborative mindset
