• Responsible for verifying insurance for all inpatient and scheduled outpatient admissions.
• Contact patients to advise of their portion due for co‑payments and deductibles upon registration.
• May take credit card payments and issue receipts.
• Document all insurance verification information in MS4 and notate patient account with benefit rates in and out of network amounts so cashier can properly credit account when insurance remits.

• Education:
  
  High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience:
  
  Ability to read and communicate effectively in English; basic computer knowledge.
• Preferred:
  Additional languages.
