Job SummaryWe are seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist for our in‑house rehab program. Flexible schedule with work‑life balance.
Duties- Effectively screen and evaluate patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders and develop an appropriate plan of care following all regulatory and clinical practice standards.
- Utilize standardized assessments and evidence‑based practice to support clinical interventions.
- Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
- Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including but not limited to ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of supportive and assistive devices.
- Assess patient’s progress and adjust treatments accordingly in the clinical record per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
- Evaluate treatment outcomes for effectiveness; adjust services in relation to patient evaluation and make referrals based on outcomes.
- Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and other health team members regarding patient progress, barriers, and treatment plans.
- Provide comprehensive discharge summaries of services per regulatory and clinical requirements.
- Occupational Therapist license is required.
- Open to Occupational Therapists at all experience levels; new graduates are welcome.
