A Practice Manager manages the day‑to‑day business operations of a medical clinic. Their duties include ensuring the practice provides reliable customer service, overseeing staff recruitment and training, and managing budgets.
Responsibilities- Implementing and monitoring quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and practice efficiency.
- Hiring, training, supervising, and evaluating clinical staff such as receptionists and medical support staff, creating staff schedules and managing time off.
- Collaborating with physicians, clinical staff, and other departments to ensure coordinated patient care and address practice challenges.
- Interacting with patients and addressing any concerns or complaints.
High School Diploma/GED.
- 2+ years of management or leadership experience, particularly in a fast‑paced, customer‑oriented environment.
- Backgrounds such as Assistant Restaurant Manager, Hospitality Manager, and Restaurant General Manager have proven to be great fits.
- Taking ownership of team, office, and patient outcomes involves being proactive and accountable in leading your team and managing the office efficiently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- People in the following industries have transitioned into this role with remarkable success: restaurants, high‑end retail, and hospitality.
