Job DescriptionThe Assistant Front Office Manager works closely with the Front Office Manager to oversee all areas of operation related to the guest experience, including Front Office, Concierge, Door, Valet, and Bell staff.
Responsibilities- Assist in training associates to meet Omni standards.
- Process guest check‑ins and check‑outs according to Omni’s Moments of Service and Standard Operating Procedures, ensuring compliance with Forbes Service Standards where applicable.
- Handle guest complaints while maintaining a satisfactory impression.
- Maintain knowledge of various hotel computer systems and adhere to all relevant policies and controls.
- Complete daily reports such as rate discrepancy, checkout with balance, and daily credit check.
- Block and assign applicable arrivals for the following day, including V.I.P.s, ESPs, and special requests.
- Collaborate with the Loyalty Ambassador to track and service all select guests.
- Prepare group information sheets.
- Ensure marketing program knowledge and training for the hotel.
- Complete weekly inventory to ensure adequate supplies.
- Communicate with all department managers on a continuing basis (shift changes/night audit).
- Previous supervisory experience in front‑office and/or housekeeping, luxury hotel experience preferred.
- Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand for the entire scheduled shift.
- Customer‑service oriented, with strong multitasking, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of Property Management Systems and related computer programs.
