The HR Manager is responsible for the daily operations of the Human Resources department by developing, supporting, and implementing corporate HR policies, programs, and practices for recruiting, onboarding, new hire orientation, and benefits administration.

  • Develop, support, and implement effective HR programs to include recruitment, benefits, and compensation, training and development, records management, safety and health, and employee relations.
  • Advise management on best practices in the administration of HR policies and practices, responses to performance management issues, and any corrective actions and terminations.
  • Investigate employee and manager complaints regarding violations of company policies and assist in corrective actions.
  • Improve manager and employee performance by identifying and clarifying problems; evaluating potential solutions; implementing selected solution; coaching and counseling managers and employees.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
  • Recruit for positions including development of job descriptions, job postings on career websites, candidate sourcing, and pre-screening, applicant tracking, and analyzing salary surveys.
  • Onboard new hires including offer letters, background checks, onboarding forms, and new hire orientations.
  • Administer employee benefit programs, including enrollment, in coordination with benefit plan brokers.
  • Maintain employee benefits programs, including employee communication, recommending benefit programs to management; directing the processing of benefit claims; designing and conducting educational programs on benefit programs.
  • Maintain the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
  • Maintain staff by establishing effective recruiting processes; conducting and analyzing exit interviews (as needed); recommending changes.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Assist with payroll, timekeeping, and data entry functions, as needed.
  • Contribute to the team effort by maintaining a flexible, positive, can-do attitude.
  • Maintain utmost confidentiality and discretion in the performance of all duties.
  • Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
  • Ensures all work under contract is well-defined, planned, communicated, and executed. This includes scope definition, estimation, cost-budgeting, resourcing (recruiting and placement), scheduling, and on-going service delivery quality evaluation.
  • Establishes, maintains, and executes an effective communications plan serving all stakeholder needs; provides timely and effective issue resolution, particularly with regard to employee performance and maintaining productive employee relations.
  • Provides exceptional proactive stakeholder communications, utilizing strong listening, speaking, writing, collaborating, and negotiating skills to build and maintain positive relationships.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or related field or Four Years experience in Human Resources at the exempt level.
  • Maintain current knowledge of HR laws and processes including EEOC, FLSA, FMLA, ADA, AAP, etc.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in high-volume, fast-paced medical position recruiting and placement.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally, verbally and in writing. Must maintain an insurable driving record. PHR preferred.
  • Skilled in dealing with military/federal government clients; exceptional customer service and follow-up; ability to manage expectations, resolve problems, and develop opportunities.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office suite; MS Project a plus.
  • US Citizen; able to pass Public Trust clearance background check.
  • Travel - approximately 10%.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or related field strongly preferred.

Clearance Level: Must be able to Obtain Public Trust.

Travel:
Minimum. Travel to client locations required.
