The Technical Talent Acquisition Specialist Role:

The Technical Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring highly skilled personnel at Darkhive, with a main focus in the engineering fields (electrical, mechanical, software, etc). Additionally, this position will assist with acquisition efforts for a variety of roles within our organization such as back office/operational and manufacturing roles. This individual will leverage their industry knowledge, connections and recruiting expertise to build strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a seamless and efficient recruitment process.

The Technical Talent Acquisition Specialist in an exempt position reporting to the Sr. Human Resources Manager. This role is hybrid with 2-3 day/week in a San Antonio, Texas office. Some travel to recruiting events may be required.

Responsibilities:
  • Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and screening to interviewing, and verbal offer negotiation.
  • Technical Sourcing: Utilize various sourcing strategies, including online platforms, networking events, and industry databases, to identify and attract qualified professionals.
  • Candidate Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, providing a positive and professional candidate experience.
  • Hiring Manager

    Collaboration:

    Partner with hiring managers to understand their specific needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Technical Screening: Conduct thorough technical screenings to assess candidates' skills and experience, ensuring alignment with job requirements.
  • Market Research: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and talent market conditions to inform recruitment strategies.
  • Data Analysis: Track and analyze recruitment metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize the recruitment process.
  • Compliance: Ensure all recruitment activities comply with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Employer Branding: Represent the company at industry events and promote our employer brand to attract top talent.
  • ATS Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the ATS
Requirements Qualifications you bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Human Resources, Communication, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in technical recruiting, with a focus on engineering (hardware, electrical, software, etc)
  • Proven track record of successfully recruiting engineers and office support positions
  • Strong understanding of aerospace technologies and industry trends
  • Excellent sourcing and networking skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in using ATS (Paylocity) and other recruitment tools (Linked In Recruiter)
  • Ability to work independently and as a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task several option positions working in a dynamic environment
  • Knowledge of employment laws and government contractor regulations
  • Eligibility to work in the United States
