Base pay range$55,000.00/yr - $60,000.00/yr

Role with the Company:
The HR Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the Human Resources department by managing daily administrative tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes, and assisting in recruitment, onboarding, employee records, and benefits administration. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communication.
- Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires, including documentation, orientation sessions, and system setup.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HR databases and personnel files.
- Support payroll preparation by collecting and verifying time sheets and employment data.
- Administer employee benefits programs and respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits and policies.
- Help plan and execute HR initiatives such as training sessions, performance reviews, and employee engagement events.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies by keeping documentation and procedures current.
- Coordinate offboarding procedures, including exit interviews and final paperwork.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR department and assist with special projects.
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Human Resources, Business Administration, or social sciences.
- 1-2 years of experience in an HR or administrative support role.
- Strong understanding of HR functions and best practices.
- Exposure to Dept. of Transportation regulations a plus.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS systems (ADP Workforce Now).

The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
