Strategic Leadership and Policy Management -
- Partner with senior management to design and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Develop, communicate, and ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and internal controls across all company departments.
- Advise senior and operational leadership on HR-related issues, including employee relations, policy interpretation, and organizational structure.
- Serve as a representative of the company in labor and legal matters, ensuring compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations.
Talent Management and Workforce Planning -
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and staffing processes, including relationships with staffing agencies and HR service providers.
- Ensure that all job descriptions and position profiles are accurate and aligned with organizational needs.
- Plan and execute personnel actions such as promotions, transfers, vacations, and separations in accordance with company policies.
- Support business continuity by developing programs that attract, retain, and engage top talent.
Compensation and Performance Management -
- Manage the company’s compensation structure, including salary scales, benefits, and pay adjustments, ensuring competitiveness with market trends.
- Lead the performance evaluation process to assess employee effectiveness and identify training or development needs.
- Provide regular HR metrics and reports (e.g., turnover, attendance, staffing levels) to senior leadership.
Learning, Development, and Employee Engagement -
- Design and implement training programs, career development initiatives, and motivational campaigns to promote continuous learning and professional growth.
- Develop and execute incentive programs that foster employee engagement, teamwork, and high performance.
- Create and manage monthly activities or campaigns to strengthen company culture, teamwork, and employee well-being.
Employee Relations and Workplace Culture -
- Foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive work environment that aligns with the company’s values.
- Provide coaching and conflict resolution support to employees and managers to prevent and address workplace issues.
- Lead initiatives that encourage collaboration, respect, and professional behavior at all levels of the organization.
HR Operations and Team Management -
- Oversee the HR department’s operations, ensuring adequate resources, tools, and training for team members to perform effectively.
- Manage the HR annual budget, including planning for special events and ongoing programs.
- Serve as a role model for professionalism, ethical conduct, and leadership within the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, any/or a related field.
- 10 years of HR experience preferred.
- Experience working in manufacturing environments.
- Fluent in English and Spanish (preferred but not required).
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Proven experience in strategic HR planning, employee relations, and performance management.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility, strong work ethic, and a strong aptitude around delivering results.
