Agency Recruiter; Military

As an award-winning strategy, consulting, and staffing firm serving the Texas market, we are seeking a motivated and professional Recruiter to join our team. This role is responsible for sourcing, screening, and coordinating qualified candidates for opportunities with our clients across a range of industries, and plays a key role in PRG's military talent recruiting, connecting veterans, transitioning service members, National Guard and Reserve members, and military spouses with rewarding civilian careers.

The ideal candidate is personable, organized, and driven, with strong communication skills and the ability to build lasting relationships.

The Recruiter will work closely with the management team to support recruiting initiatives, maintain candidate pipelines, and help deliver an exceptional experience for both clients and candidates. • Source, identify, screen, and qualify candidates for open positions based on client requirements and job fit.
• Coordinate interviews, including video interviews for candidates on active duty, overseas, or relocating, and communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process.
• Maintain accurate and timely candidate records in the ATS, including candidate source and voluntarily disclosed military status.
• Present qualified candidates to the management team and clients, and assist with onboarding for new hires and contractors.
• Build and maintain strong candidate relationships and talent pipelines across a variety of industries, markets, and position types.
• Build relationships with military talent channels, including transition assistance programs, veteran organizations, base transition offices, National Guard and Reserve units, and military job boards.
• Represent PRG at military job fairs, hiring events, and outreach activities.
• Translate military experience, training, and ranks into civilian skills to match candidates with client roles.
• Document recruiting activities and contribute to client reporting, including quarterly military recruiting reports.

• 1-3+ years of recruiting experience.
• Experience recruiting for various roles across different industries and markets is a plus (Information Technology, Accounting/Finance, Executive, HR, Engineering, Telecommunications, Administrative, etc.).
• Military service, military spouse, or experience recruiting military talent is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with military occupations, ranks, and the civilian transition process is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, with occasional local travel to recruiting events.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, internet research, and applicant tracking systems.
• Strong organizational and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated, professional, and eager to learn.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
