Human Resources Manager

VAPA Investments is seeking a Human Resources Manager to help lead people operations for VAPA Group in San Antonio, TX
. This is a full-time, on-site role overseeing HR processes for both office and field employees supporting real estate investments and residential remodeling. You will own core HR functions that keep hiring, onboarding, training, records, and compliance running smoothly.

• Lead the Human Resources department and coordinate day-to-day HR activities.
• Manage recruitment and selection for administrative, operational, and construction roles.
• Oversee hiring, onboarding, employee integration, and offboarding

• Identify training needs across departments and design training plans accordingly.
• Coordinate and deliver training programs for office and field employees
  .
• Train employees and supervisors on internal processes
  , company policies
  , leadership, and job performance.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and follow up to confirm newly acquired skills are applied on the job.

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
• Oversee attendance tracking
  , payroll adjustments
  , leave requests
  , and vacation records
  .
• Coordinate with Accounting to review information for weekly payroll
  .
• Develop, implement, and communicate company policies and procedures
  .
• Address workplace conflicts and follow up on disciplinary actions
  .
• Advise managers and supervisors on personnel management and employee performance
  .
• Track turnover, absenteeism, recruitment, and retention metrics
  .
• Coordinate performance reviews and employee development plans.
• Promote respectful communication and a professional work environment
  .
• Support audits and compliance with applicable employment requirements.

• 3+ years of Human Resources experience, including experience leading a team or coordinating an HR department.
• Experience recruiting office and field employees
  .
• Experience in employee training
  , including needs assessments, training plan development, course delivery, and evaluation of results.
• Ability to explain procedures, lead training sessions, and adapt content to different roles and experience levels.
• Knowledge of payroll processes
  , attendance tracking
  , and personnel administration
  .
• Knowledge of applicable Texas and federal employment laws
  .
• English and Spanish proficiency to communicate with employees and handle documentation.
• Proficiency in Excel

  , and HR systems
  .
• Strong organizational

  , and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Ability to work on-site in San Antonio, Texas

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources
  , Business Administration
  , Psychology
  , or a related field.
• Experience in construction
  , remodeling
  , or real estate
  .
• Experience managing HR functions for a workforce of more than 100 employees
  .
• Experience using Indeed and attendance tracking systems such as Findd
  .

Compensation: USD 52,800 - 70,000 per year.
