Our client is a fast-growing infrastructure company launching a new start-up division and building its European presence from scratch. They’re hiring their first Head of HR for the region, reporting directly to the CEO.
You’ll set up and run people operations across six European countries, including the UK, and create the HR foundation the business will scale on. This is a true build role with real visibility to executive leadership.
What you’ll do- Stand up and manage payroll across multiple countries
- Draft and administer employment contracts
- Run onboarding and offboarding
- Own HR policies and compliance
- Support the setup and ongoing administration of local legal entities
- Partner with Finance, Legal, and senior leadership
- Significant experience managing HR operations in Europe
- A track record of establishing multi-country payroll with local payroll and employment providers
- Working knowledge of country-specific employment law and compliance
- A builder’s mindset: you want to create the function, not inherit it
- Comfort building relationships across cultures
