DevOps Lead - AWS

Job Summary:
The Senior Technical Lead will be responsible for overseeing and leading the technical aspects of Dev Ops solutions, AWS architecture, and Java within the organization.
They will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing technical solutions to meet business requirements effectively.

Key Responsibilities
1. Lead the design, development, and implementation of Dev Ops solutions, AWS architecture, and Java applications.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Dev Ops practices and AWS services.
3. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members on best practices for Dev Ops and AWS architecture.
4. Evaluate existing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary upgrades.
5. Monitor system performance and ensure reliability and scalability of applications in AWS environment.
6. Troubleshoot technical issues related to Dev Ops and Java applications, providing timely resolution.
7. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in Dev Ops, AWS, and Java development technologies.

Skill Requirements:
1. Proficiency in Dev Ops solutions implementation and optimization.
2. Strong knowledge and experience in AWS architecture, including services like EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS.
3. Expertise in Java programming and development, with the ability to write efficient code and troubleshoot issues.
4. Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization tools like Docker, and automation tools like Ansible.
5. Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Cloud Formation.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
7. Strong communication and leadership skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Certifications:
AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Dev Ops Engineer, AWS Certified Developer, Oracle Certified Professional Java Programmer.

Additional requirements:
AWS Sr Infrastructure Engineer / Sr Developer Role

Preferred Experience:
- 4+ years' experience implementing AWS technologies and services
- 3+ years' experience orchestrating and automating continuous delivery pipelines
- 3+ years' experience with Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code tools
- 3+ years' experience working with container technologies and cloud deployments
- 3+ years' experience integrating automated testing tools into delivery pipelines

- Experience with setting operation-level strategy for development and cloud infrastructure
- Hands-on experience with CI tools such as Git Lab CI, Gradle, Terraform

- Working experience with Linux or similar tools
- Troubleshooting experience with cloud infrastructure and tools such as Kitchen, Terra Test, Python scripting, GoLang, NodeJS, Lambda, and EKS
- Hands-on experience with production cloud deployments (Kubernetes, Open Shift, AWS, Docker, Artifactory)
- Ability to seek out opportunities for problem solving and finding solutions to infrastructure, development, and operational needs
- Experience working in a highly available environment
