About the roleWe’re seeking a talented Dev Ops Engineer to join our growing team in downtown San Antonio. This hybrid role (75% in‑office) is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys building and optimizing cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes that power modern applications.
As a Dev Ops Engineer, you’ll work closely with developers and technical stakeholders to ensure high reliability, scalability, and efficiency across our infrastructure and software lifecycle. You’ll also troubleshoot unit tests, manage DNS and Linux environments, and improve automation wherever possible.
What you'll do- Design, deploy, and maintain secure and scalable AWS cloud infrastructure
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Git Hub Actions or similar tools
- Troubleshoot unit testing and deployment issues in staging and production environments
- Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and availability
- Manage DNS and Linux‑based systems (Ubuntu, CentOS, etc.)
- Write and maintain infrastructure scripts (e.g., Bash, Python, or Node.js)
- Collaborate with development teams to align Dev Ops strategies with product goals
Implement and enforce security best practices and compliance where applicable.
Qualifications- 2–5+ years of hands‑on experience in a Dev Ops, Site Reliability, or Infrastructure Engineering role
- Strong AWS experience; AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional) is a plus
- Proficient in Git, Git Hub, and Git Hub Actions (or similar CI/CD tools)
- Experience with Linux system administration
- Knowledge of DNS setup and troubleshooting
- Comfortable scripting in Bash, Python, or similar languages
