Job Description
We are seeking a Middleware Integration Developer for a full‑time contract role in San Antonio, TX. The posting is for a 24‑month engagement with a pay range of $46‑$49 per hour.
Responsibilities- Develop, administer, and support Application Integration solutions for business processes.
- Support and administer Energy
IP Meter Data Management system. - Implement and manage J2EE Application Server platforms for web‑delivered business applications.
- Manage work packages and collaborate with Application Development, IT Infrastructure, Communication Services, Service Support, IT Operations, and vendors.
- Ensure integration services and architectures are designed, tested, documented, implemented, enhanced, and maintained by operational standards.
- Provide 2nd‑level proactive/reactive service and performance management for mission‑critical systems; configure real‑time alerts and resolve performance issues.
- Perform ongoing performance analysis, troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, and solution implementation.
- Automate system administration tasks using scripting.
- Maintain 24x7x365 service availability; participate in on‑call rotation.
- Ensure host security (passwords, file permissions, file system integrity, security packages, SSH) and network security.
- Support services/processes with proper escalation; cross‑train team members.
- Communicate technical solutions effectively (oral/written).
- Focus on operational/tactical tasks with some strategic responsibilities; may supervise lower‑level analysts.
- Professional certification required; perform other assigned duties.
- Experience with ESQL, SQL, and Java.
- Experience with IBM ACE, IBM MQ, IBM Web Sphere Application Server, Mule Soft, Tomcat, Web Logic, Active MQ, Kafka, and Energy
IP Meter Data Management system. - Proficiency in EAI software and a strong background in middleware integration.
Pay Range*: $46 to $49 per hour.
* Pay range offered is based on factors including education, work experience, location, job duties, and certifications.
