The Role Join Our Team as a Site Reliability Engineer - San Antonio, TX! Are you passionate about building and maintaining reliable, high-performance systems in a cloud environment? We're looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our dynamic Operations Team in San Antonio, TX. In this role, you'll work with cutting-edge technologies like Java, Kubernetes, Hadoop, and Accumulo, supporting data-intensive analytics on managed infrastructure that powers real-world business insights.

What You'll Do:
* Ensure day-to-day operational stability and provide expert technical support to our customers.

* Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across Linux environments.

* Contribute to the management and automation of our cloud platform infrastructure.

* Collaborate with a fast-paced, innovative team to improve reliability, performance, and scalability.

* Participate in on-call rotations and provide Tier 1-3 support.

Position Requirements :

* Experience:

12 years in software development/engineering, including analysis, design, development, integration, testing, maintenance, and problem resolution.

* Education:

Bachelor's in Computer Science or related technical field is preferred (counts as 2 years of experience). Master's in a technical field counts as 4 years.

Note:

Degrees in Mathematics, Information Systems, Engineering, or similar are also acceptable.

* Certifications (one required):
* AWS Certified Developer - Associate

* AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or Professional

* AWS Certified Sys Ops Administrator - Associate

* Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKAD)

* Elastic Certified Engineer or Elastic Certified Observability Engineer

* Security Clearance:
Active TS/SCI with current polygraph required.

* Preferred

Skills:

Prometheus, JIRA, HDFS, Virtualization, Salt/Ansible, Grafana, Open Stack, AWS.
SCA / Union / Intern Rate or Range Details Target Salary Range: $135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
